we just took part in the un-american activity of looking for a decent, basic quilt cover in a good color or print at the toxic nightmare of short pump. the juxtaposition of supposed "green" whole foods in front of the bad movie set named short pump village is especially troubling to me. just to drive the whole thing home, the comme des garcons line for h & m isn't coming to short pump. commerce 1, malinoski caskey family 0. and those giant strollers with cupholders full of sugar and fried stuff, parked in the middle of the bathroom so nobody else can get by. oh the humanity.
